Côté Gold’s parent company IAMGOLD is proud to continue supporting the next generation of mining leaders by joining forces with Laurentian University, Canada’s Mining University, and investing $2.5M into the creation of the IAMGOLD President’s Innovation Fund for Strategic Investment.
The Côté Gold DevFest Challenge wrapped up in January at Laurentian University leaving the judges and attendees impressed by the remarkable creativity and innovation that was showcased.
In 2024, Côté achieved nearly 200,000 ounces of production in its first year of operations. Milestones include pouring first gold on March 31, 2024, achieving commercial production on August 1, 2024, and completing a comprehensive mill shutdown in September.

We are proud to have supported two teams of future mining professionals recently as they competed with their peers from across Canada and around the world.
Côté Gold was proud to sponsor and have a team of employees play in the Miners for Cancer Allan Epps Memorial Hockey Tournament in Sudbury in January. The Côté team had 18 employees overall and made their colleagues proud in all three games they played in.

Everyone at Côté Gold was celebrating after our own Genevieve Sulatycky, Environment Superintendent, was honoured with the Mentorship Award at the first annual Women in Mining Sudbury “Mining for Diversity” Gala in November.
