On August 2nd, 2024, Côté Gold announced that it had reached commercial production. This marks a pivotal moment, meaning the mine now consistently operates at over 60% of its full production potential.
Côté Gold recently welcomed students and faculty from McGill University and Northern College for an insightful educational tour, facilitated by Stacey Lefebvre from Canada Nickel.
Côté Gold was excited to participate in the Canadian Mining Expo 2024, held from June 4th to 6th in Timmins, Ontario.
Recently, we donated new, custom bookshelves to the Gogama Community Library, enhancing this vital volunteer-run resource.
Earlier in May, Côté Gold sponsored and participated in Beaverfest 2024, held at Mattagami First Nation. Organized by the Mattagami Fur Council and the Mattagami Lands and Resources Department, this annual festival has been a community staple since 1991.
This year, to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, our Côté Gold team commemorated the occasion with a curated menu for dinner featuring traditional foods representative of Indigenous Culture.
