Commemorating National Indigenous Peoples Day at Côté Gold on June 21

This year, to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, our Côté Gold team commemorated the occasion with a curated menu for dinner featuring traditional foods representative of Indigenous Culture. Reminiscent of traditional Indigenous gatherings, our celebration embraced the spirit of potluck-style feasts often seen at ceremonies or family events. Many members of our Côté Gold workforce came together, sharing in this meaningful event. The day provided an opportunity to recognize and celebrate Indigenous contributions, and to reaffirm our commitment to cross-cultural learning and understanding. Together, we honoured the past while building a future where Indigenous cultures are cherished and respected.
