Côté Gold was proud to sponsor and have a team of employees play in the Miners for Cancer Allan Epps Memorial Hockey Tournament in Sudbury in January.
The Côté team had 18 employees overall and made their colleagues proud in all three games they played in.
Chris Barr, Team Captain and Côté Earthworks Projects Superintendent said it was a great weekend for everyone.
“It was a lot of fun, good exercise for all of us and a great way to build camaraderie. We’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament!”
Founded in 1996, Miners for Cancer events like this one raise money to improve the lives of those living with cancer through new equipment and vital patient care in Northern Ontario.
Our team was proud to sell more than $2000 in raffle tickets for the cause this year.
