Teachers digging deep in the world of mining

This summer, we had the privilege of hosting a group of dedicated educators for an overnight tour of our facility. It was an exciting opportunity to showcase our cutting-edge autonomous technology, and highlight the important work we’re doing in environmental stewardship. 

Throughout the tour, teachers got a first-hand look at how innovation and sustainability are shaping the future of mining. They learned about the advanced systems making our operations safer and more efficient and how we are actively working to reduce our environmental impact. 

In addition to exploring our technology and environmental efforts, educators had the chance to dive deep into the diverse career opportunities in the mining industry. From engineering to environmental science, there are countless paths that can inspire their students to dream big and pursue meaningful careers in this evolving sector. 

We’re proud to have played a part in sparking new ideas and passion in these teachers, who will now be able to bring this knowledge back to their classrooms and inspire the next generation of innovators, environmental stewards, and industry leaders.
