Everyone at Côté Gold was celebrating after our own Genevieve Sulatycky, Environment Superintendent, was honoured with the Mentorship Award at the first annual Women in Mining Sudbury “Mining for Diversity” Gala in November.
Genevieve’s award recognizes active leadership and the incredible support she provides to her team.
With more than 12 years in the mining industry, Genevieve is a passionate innovator who is always willing to share her extensive knowledge.
“It’s an honour to have been recognized as a mentor and I am grateful to my team for nominating me. I’ve learned from great mentors who have supported my career in mining and trusted me to lead a team of future leaders,” said Genevieve.
The event brought together industry leaders, diversity advocates and allies as well as community members to celebrate the achievements of women in the mining industry.
Ogimaa Kwe (Chief) Jennifer Constant of Mattagami First Nation, was also honoured with the Indigenous Trailblazer Award. She’s a champion for First Nation objectives and actively works on the continued growth of a mutually beneficial and respectful relationship between her community and Côté Gold.
Congratulations to both Genevieve and Ogimaa Kwe Jennifer Constant!
